Visitor center Dwingelderveld
Do you want a day out in the National Park Dwingelderveld? Then go to the Dwingelderveld Visitor Center; the ideal starting point for various activities in the area. The center is located on the southwest side of the area, just outside Ruinen. It is about 15 minutes drive from the hotel.

Plenty of children's fun
The Drentse Koe is a real farm in Ruinerwold and has also become a full-fledged recreation company. With us children can play outside with a real 'farmer feeling'. Driving around on a trekkertje, petting animals, jumping and climbing in the large playground or a game of true farm billiards.
Of course, a real "Boerenijsje" can not be missed!

Hunebed centrum Borger
The Hunebedcentrum in Borger on the Drentse Hondsrug will put you on the trail to prehistoric times, to the time when the first farmers settled in Drenthe. These farmers built the impressive stone tombs of which the remains can still be admired in the landscape of Drenthe.
