New Construction at Hotel Spier-Dwingeloo
We Remain Open

We have started the construction of Hotel Spier-Dwingeloo. The hotel is undergoing a beautiful transformation. The total construction period is expected to take approximately 3 years. During this time, we will remain open and you are very welcome to visit us.

Over the coming years, we are working towards a completely renewed hotel, including:

  • A striking new tower with views over the nature reserve
  • A larger wellness area with a new swimming pool
  • More hotel rooms and suites
  • A new restaurant, hotel bar, and 8 multifunctional rooms
  • Bowling lanes and a children’s play area

    What remains open during the construction?

    During the construction, we will remain operational with:

    • 74 hotel rooms and suites (this part of the hotel remains standing and fully in use)

    • The swimming pool and wellness area

    • Our luxury pop-up restaurant ‘Kleine Spier’

    We do everything we can to keep any inconvenience to a minimum.

  • Pop-up restaurant ‘Kleine Spier’

    Pop-up restaurant ‘Kleine Spier’

    Since October 1, 2025, our pop-up restaurant has been open in the hotel’s parking area. You are welcome here daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a cup of coffee with homemade pastries. In this temporary restaurant, you can already experience the atmosphere and hospitality of the new hotel.

  • Overnight stays during the construction

    Overnight stays during the construction

    We are busy with preparations and demolition work. This means the following for your stay: for reception, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you will need to walk outside between the hotel block and the pop-up restaurant. The fitness room is closed.

    • It is temporarily not possible to book massages

    • Demolition and construction work may be audible at certain times

    If you book a renovated room or luxury suite, you will of course still enjoy the comfort you are used to from us.
